Product Details

Quickflash Codes 101 - 104 Single joist saddle flashings are positioned over a joist or other member that protrudes through the cladding in a direct fix or cavity situation.

An inter-storey flashing, Quickflash Codes 08 or 12 or a 'Z' flashing Quickflash Codes 20, 21, 22, 27, 28 & 29 is positioned under the saddle flashing to direct any water to the outer face of the cladding.  The cladding should be sealed to the saddle flashing after installation.  We would suggest a bead of MS Silicon be run up the sides of the joist and across the top about 20mm in from the outside edge to help stop capillary attraction.

For selection of the appropriate flashing material to use refer to E2/AS1 - tables 20-22.
